Lettering
Before any drawing is complete it is necessary to add notes, measurements and text. This process of adding written information to a drawing sheet is called 'lettering'. Lettering is done using Block Capitals letters so that it is clear and easy to read. To ensure your letters stay consistent and in a straight line we use construction lines to guide you while lettering. These construction lines should be 3 mm apart and and then a 5mm gap between your next two construction lines. Lettering should be done as shown on the left.
